This lightweight, creamy and unscented formula is now enriched with 95% natural-origin ingredients including Community Fair Trade aloe vera from Campeche, Mexico and wild-harvested cica from Madagascar. Cica, is a hard-working herb well-known for its calming and soothing properties. Sensitive skin feels relieved from discomfort and dryness throughout the day.
But it does more than just care for your skin. We’ve updated our packaging so that this hydrating moisturiser now comes in a recyclable glass jar made from 40% recycled glass that’s topped with an aluminium lid – perfect for reusing or recycling*, again and again.

How to use
The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Day Cream is the perfect finish to your skincare routine, after applying your face cleanser, toner or serum. It allows your skin to feel smooth and makes the perfect face moisturiser for those with sensitive skin.
1. Simply apply a small amount using your fingertips only, and rub gently to the whole face and neck, until the moisturiser has been fully absorbed by the skin. For better absorption, try using a facial massager.
2. For best results, make sure to apply daily in the morning, after an initial face wash.

Aloe vera is known for being ultra-gentle and soothing on skin. It’s helped us formulate our Aloe range to handle sensitive skin with kid gloves.
It’s a naturally hardy plant. Our aloe vera leaves are harvested and filleted by hand within 6 hours, which preserves the freshness and makes sure the aloe is the highest possible quality.
We source our organic aloe vera from Campeche in south-east Mexico. We work with expert farmers who really know their stuff, and can harvest the aloe while causing minimal harm to the environment. This is particularly important since the land is close to three precious rainforest biosphere reserves in the Yucatan peninsula.
